I just got my Western Digital MyBook Pro HDD today and it is great. It is 500Gb and FW400, FW800, USB 2.0. I paid 186 plus shipping on ebay but you can get it on NewEgg for 203, I think.

This is the one I would recommend if you want one already in a case.

Start at the beginning of the thread and have a lot of info related to multiple drives.
If you're not worried about it being too pretty, you can just buy a standard hard disk, and an enclosure.
There is actually a gadget that doesn't even have that - it's just the electronic guts from the external cabinet, which connects directly to the sata drive. I have one for temporarily connecting drives, it's ugly but it works.
