I had to do a manual rebuild of my iPhoto library (don't ask :Blushing: ), and it turned my 3,000 - 4,000 photos into 15,000! The instructions said it might duplicate, so I was forewarned. That's O.K., I got back what I wanted. However, I am puzzled. There are now (in the library that the rebuild created) about ten photos of kids that I do not recognize. I even sent a sampling of them to family members to see if any of them recognized these darling kids. Nobody did. Question is, how did they get on my computer? I really only have photos that I have taken and some that are sent to me by family members.
Wondering if Apple includes some sample photos in iPhoto when they ship the computers? My Macbook was bought new, not refurb, so I don't think that's it. This is not a problem, per se, because that library will be trashed once I am firmly convinced I don't need it any more, but it is curious, and I'd like to know what is going on.
Anybody??? Thanks!
