So i had boot camp installed on my computer, but for some reason it did not work with my windows XP CD. So i went back and removed the boot camp and unpartitioned the drive so that it is back to one. But here is the problem, since then i have a slow boot up. It used to take about 5 seconds to boot totally and it was ready to go. Now it comes up with a blank white screen for about 20 seconds then the little apple logo apears for about 7 seconds and then mac OX loads real fast and it is ready to go, but how do i get rid of that stupid blank screen. Thanks for the help

did you use bootcamp assistant to uninstall windows, and repartition the drive? If not, then there are probably some prefs that are looking for the partition on boot up.

I'm having the same problem.

I installed Bootcamp with Vista on the partition. I then deleted the partition using the Bootcamp Assistant and since then it's taken a long time to boot, very similar timings of wesley.

Any ideas folks?
