Real and Apple

Good read...things could get very interesting...I am really looking forward to what Jobs will do. Basically, he could make or brake apple with just a few decisioins...though I think brake apple is a harsh word....look what the companies been through...I don't think it could ever brake...but it was doing so amazingly well at one time....and probably makes more money now..but that's only because more people have computers....I'm rutting for Jobs and Apple....I just hope they're rutting for themselves.

I think that Apple is fully established After all it's been through - nothing can stop it now! The iPod has clinched Apple's place, and the superb quality of both the OS and hardware in Mac are unbeatable and I think the word is getting out

I agree...it was kind of an insult in a way for real to make this "offer"....and within the offer, stipulate that if Apple didn't accept, they'd look to microsoft....that's just taboo.

Apple called thier bluff. Real can not go to M$. Why would M$ want onther media player, except to wipe it off the face of the earth.

Not only that.. Im pretty sure that Real and MS are in court at each other's throat right now if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I think I recall a fight over real being an infringement on win media player

No, Real sued Microsoft because they included Windows Media Player in Windows, which is abusing dominance power.
