I must cynically wonder if the ReadyBoost "feature" is a desperate response to the abysmal performance of Vista. Hey, lets throw more hardware at it!! :dive:

One of them is ReadyBoost. ReadyBoost allows you to insert a flash drive into your USB port and use any empty space as RAM for your computer. Pretty sweet huh?

Ive read several reviews on this and because USB is so painfully slow, it actually slows down the computer in some instances. I mean USB 2.0 has a theoretical write speed of 200mb/s (is it? its something like that...) and memory buses have write speeds in the low 10s of GB.

Thats pretty much why I switched over to Macs. I just got tired of all the upkeep. I like not having to scan for viruses, spyware, malware at least once a week. It is great to being able to use my computer and have fun with it.
