random pauses

My 4G ipod randomly pauses, I've tried restoring it and that hasn't helped. If I take it in to an Apple store will they replace it on site (assuming my warrantee is still active)?

If your warrenty is still active, they will first try to fix it, and if they can't they will give you a new one.
