mac pro / sierra / i use the machine all the time since 2012 .
schould i change the RAM ?

Good evening, atomottokar, and welcome.

Only too happy to advise, but not knowing now much RAM you have, now makes this a trifle difficult.

Could you give us the specs of your Mac Pro, please, including current RAM; and perhaps indicate the things you do on your Mac on a regular basis?

Moreover, asking the question may imply that you have encountered some slowness or other problems. What are these?

RAM doesn't wear out. If your machine is not performing well and you don't have the maximum amount of RAM it supports, you should consider upgrading.

Atom, you say that you have OS 10.8.5? That looks like Mountain Lion, but you say that you are running Sierra?
