Currently running Parallels and Windows 7. I've used Quicken for a very long time and like it much better than the Mac version. Currently running Quicken 2009 with Quicken 2016 waiting to be installed. The problem is 2009 is one version to early to convert my current files to 2016. The question. is...does anyone have a copy of Quicken from 2010-2015 that is not in use and are willing to sell it. Not looking to pirate anything.

I haven't tried it yet...probably tomorrow. If it works I'll post a link to the Quicken page.

Ok...here's the deal. I was able to d/l Quicken 2013 per the Quick Answers guide that came with the disc. I kept getting an error message so back to the Quick Answer guide. Turn out you have to d/l another patch to make it work...and it does. Now if they'd only make a Mac version that actually worked, I could get rid of Windows altogether...

I gave up on Intuit years ago and I was running Windows back then. They are in my opinion the worst software company to do business with. Customer support is non existent. At the time I switched to MS Money and used that for years. Unfortunately, MS Money is no longer being developed and there never was a version for the Mac. I now use "Checkbook" from Splasm Software. It's a simple program to manage your checkbook. They also have a Pro version which does much more. (I no longer need something as sophisticated as Quicken or Money.)

Thanks for posting the solution.:) Now that you got things sorted out...what about the current line of Quicken products for the Mac (Quicken Starter, Quicken Deluxe, Quicken Premier)?

Each mention's "New in 2018"...which means they're receiving some sort of "love" from the developer.:)

Check those newer products out. Will keep you as up to date as possible...and may allow you to ditch Windows.:)

I looked at them briefly...looks like it's now a subscription/pay to play program now.
