I have a Macbook Pro running Yosemite and when I got home from work it was in Guest Safari-Only mode. My son admitted to using it but he has his own computer and gave me a lame excuse on why he needed to use my computer. Where should I look to see history or log files on exactly what he was up to? There is no user called Guest so I am a bit lost.

If your son logged on in Guest mode and then logged off, there will be no logs and no data left over for you to look at. Safari history and web cache will be wiped out as soon as the guest account is shut down. So, whatever your son was doing on your machine will be left up to him to tell you. ;D
