Question mark not working

Dear all,

I have a machine at home (macbook) that the question mark is not working. The key works fine when typing "/" but when pressing any of the shift keys+/ the question mark does not appear. I created a different user to check, and the key works fine. It must be a user setting. Does anyone have an insight or ideas?. Many thanks.

System Preferences, Keyboard, Keyboard Shortcuts. Place a check in the box that says "Restore Defaults". Reboot. Let's see if that fixes it.

Check all your startup items in the account where the ? is not working and remove them one by one.

MacIntosh HD/Library/StartupItems/
