question about using a monitor for my ibook G4

well, since my laptop is usually just on the desk. i bought a 19" samsung widescreen monitor for it.

my question is, is there a way to configure it so that things arent stretched?

squares are more like rectangles, and i was just curious if there's any way to correct it.

i've gotten used to it. but if i could fix it, it would be nice.

The screen spanning doctor should fix this. It will allow you to set a separate resolution for the iBook and hence the screen. I used it on my iBook with my 19" acer widescreen LCD.
