In the recent US box office hit Boogy Man, when the guy gets his appartment that is very empty and has no closets he has all his cloths on department story style cloth racks. I think that was kinda stupid because then he was living in a closet rite?

i dont have no mac's
i havent seen it, but you can say that a closet is defined as a space in which one hangs up and stores their clothes...which seems like the situation that this guy was living in....

but at the same time a room is defined by beds, furniture and living area and its contents.

i would say that he was living in a room

Am I the only person on these forums who has ever lived in a loft?

Many (I would say most) loft apartments do not have closets. It is really not all that unusual.

EDIT: I have not seen the movie yet though.

Would you say that a clothing store is a big closet.
