I'm purchasing a g5 within the next 2 weeks (waiting till april 18th...) and am going to get a combo drive instead of the superdrive and just install my own superdrive (I want 8x burning, not the 4x I'd get if I went BTO) and I know you can install your own, but only a certain brand will work. I heard that apple uses pioneer drives, but there are a couple different model numbers. I'm hoping somebody who has done this can help me out with which 8x burners it'll recognize etc...

thanks!
