Proper way to check voltage rails on removed logic board?

Again, only if you feel comfortable....</p><p>1. There's an app called OpenBoardView. Search it on google and download it. </p><p>2. Search google for "820-3115-B boardview". Should come up within the first 3 hits. The file downloaded will be a '.brd" file and can only be opened with the OBV app. This will allow you to identify board-level components.</p><p>3. Now, go back to google and search for "820-3115-B Apple schematic". You will see a website that has the file for download right away.
