problems with linksys WRT54G router

hi all. i got the above mentioned router to which i connect using airport. everything works fine except i can't access microsoft's page and msn messenger won't work no matter what i do. any ideas ?

The M$ page I really am not sure about, strange. The MSN messanger may be a port/firewall issue though

That's weird. I'm on the same router with an Airport Extreme card and I have no problems. I am on MSN messenger all the time.
