Rick, I don't know about your technical/hardware/software abilities nor of the Mac computer repair world around your area, but I'd suspect as you are already asking such related questions you're already almost up against a high wall you may not be able to overcome, just from the simple fact that you don't know and are having to ask. Just to start, how many such already good knowledgable Mac techs are there in your area now, and to become a Qualified Apple Authorized Repair is quite a further challenge and commitment. But as Lisa says, to get more feedback or answers, you might want to start another thread. And good luck. I've been there but slowed down drastically after some serious hospital surgeries a year or so ago, and turning 75 in ten days. Retirement well earned and now being enjoyed!! ;) PS: I sure enjoyed being invited by my employer to join him occasionally for a visit at their lovely winter holiday place home in Scottsdale. Very nice, but it sure can be dry and dusty there compared to the Pacific Wet Coast. Oh yes, and HOT!!! Even in March… ;) Anyway, Good Luck. - Patrick ======
