oh and also, its the 12" model..it happened today again in class..as i was typing, taking notes, my screen just went blank..and its not completely off because I then have to shut it off w/ the power button, and i see the screen go a little darker..its like its in sleep mode and i cant get it out of it or somethin..i read a little about it but there are so many different things it could be..should i just take it into apple or anyone kno of something i can try?? it happens maybe once or twice a month so its hard to know when its going to happen..but like i said, its only when the battery is runnin w/o the power cord so i'm thinking it may be that my pb is overheating or just the battery connection isnt good or somethin?? i'm not sure..i may be way off too..well thanks for anyone that can help!

bing take it to an apple store, calling apple does no good. that is happening to my 17" and the phone support was horrible, they said they never heard of the issue on a 17" PB. The guy also had me repair permissions instead of run a hardware test, and since I had no errors when I repaired permission, "nothing is wrong with my computer". The guy at the apple store said he sees a computer do this about once a month and hes seeing it for the last 8 years, youll probably have to have the logic board replaced, but it could also be as simple as a fan not working.
