Hi all! I recently bought an old Mac Mini G4. I need to use it with an LCD monitor ASUS WV193D (the system recognises it with this name), that just has VGA input. I connected it with the adapter included in the mac mini box, but I'm experiencing problems: the video quality is OK (i.e. doesn't show flicker) just with resolutions as 1024x768 or 1280x960, that are the "old" resolutions for 4/3 monitors, but in this way the image is deformed, stretched orizontally (because the asus display has a 16/9 shape); with resolutions such as 1280x800, with whom the image is not deformed, I experience a very bad flicker. This can't be normal, but i haven't found any software update for this problem. I have MAC OS 10.4 installed and updated. Any suggestions? Thanks very much!
