Problem with emptying the trash of my portable hard drive

Hi, I've been looking for a solution on how to empty the trash of my portable hard drive. I already tried doing secure emptry and terminal application but still didn't worked. I am attaching the screenshot saying files cannot be deleted. Please, please help me. Btw, I am using Seagate portable slim HD.

Have you tried holding down the option key whilst you selected Empty Trash in your menu?

Also run Verify/Repair on your Hard Drive in Disk Utility.

I just verified/repaired my hard drive using disk utility and it works!!! Thank you so much!!
