Problem with Apple wired keyboard

New wired keyboard purchased at Apple store.
When typing an e-mail, at the end of a line Ityped,"the" the th showed
but hitting the e, the cursor moved back erasing the th.
I tried to type the word," amendments" but hitting the second M caused the cursor to erase the previous two letters.
Is this my keyboard or mi iMac??
I had no problem typing this message.

My guess it's the computer (a setting of some sort). But to know for sure…switch back to the keyboard you were using previously…do the same thing…and see if you get the same result.
