Problem Scanning "Help"

I have a lexmark X7675 that is a wireless unit. What Im having a problem with is having the printer scan wirelessly to macbook. If anyone has experienced this please lend me some guidance?

Bring up the "Lexmark 7600 Series Center" application. From the menu bar choose Advanced and then "Network Scan Access..." Check that your printer is in the list.

For best results you should assign your printer a static IP address. See the article at Lexmark Answers: Setting Static IP address on Mac

I just bought an HP wireless printer about 3 weeks ago and couldn't get it to scan either. The problem was the included software didn't support snow leopard. I finally called HP support and was directed and assisted to download their latest and greatest software. Problem fixed. Long story short......you may need to contact Lexmark support for latest driver.
