Privileges and Permissions Messed Up

At work, we run several macs on a network and use AdmitMac. I recently received an upgrade to the latest version, as we purchased the previous version. I had no permissions problems previous to the upgrade, but since programs such as CS4 crash like crazy, I can't rename folders due to "insufficient privileges" among many other little issues that surfaced since the upgrade.

Would it help to just go back to the previous version?
