how do I inlarge and print a photo from my MAC to the largest size to fit on my canon ip7800 printer?
Hello
Don & Karen - welcome to the forum!
You really need to provide much more information: 1) What Mac are you using (laptop or desktop - provide year); 2) What macOS is installed; 3) What type of image are you trying to print, e.g. JPEG, TIFF, RAW or other; 4) What is the pixel size of your image(s) - more in a moment; and 5) What size print are you wanting to produce?
The pixel size of your image is crucial in producing a good quality print, especially if the size desired is 5" x 7" or larger - the usual print pixel density desired is 300 dpi (corresponds to ppi on your computer screen) - if you look at the chart below, for an 'excellent' typical size print, 3-4 MP are needed for 300 dpi. I suspect that you likely have low pixel size images that you want to make into large prints - will not work, sorry - let me stop there for you to respond w/ more details. Dave
P.S. also take a look at this
LINK for more details; there is a LOT of information through a google search; also, believe that I've responded to this question on the forum several times before, so some searching may also help.
