Preview can't open my pdf's

Hey when I try to open pdfs on my MacBook I get this message:

"The file "[xxx]" couldn't be opened because you don't have permission to view it.
--> for ALL of them! No problem yesterday, but it is now. If I go to Get Info I have access and Preview is set to be the default viewer for pdf's - what is wrong???

I can still open the pdf's in Adobe Reader, but I like Preview better...

Go to Disk Utility, repair permissions on the drive and see if that helps.
