pressin "Tab" to select

i confess i am new to Mac, and i am coming from windows. I love the apple interface, but a question: using safari, is there a way to "Tab" to the pull down menus? For example, when at a website, say United Airlines, and i tab to each blank block to fill informaion on the form, at times, the answer optinos to some questions needs a selection from the pull down menu. However, when i press tab, the cursor only goes to the blank boxes...and skips the pulldown menu- even if it is the next questinon on the form.

Any thoughts out there?
