hi
does anyone know how to change the settings on the predictive text on the mac. when I'm typing a word it sometimes predicts a different word after i press return...so annoying.

I found it extremely annoying.

OS X calls it auto correct.

You can turn it off on a per application basis in the 'Edit' menu, then 'Spelling and Grammar'.
This has alleviated the annoying behavior for me in the couple of apps I had issues.
