does a PowerMac G5 Dual 2.0GHz still work if only one cpu is present?

well, you can disable the use of one processor, so i guess if you did that, and removed the other processor, you could. theoretically of course.

i am curious why you want to do that? who wants a slower computer?

My PowerMac doesn't work anymore so i wanted to try both the cpus seperately
