::: Powerbook randomly falls asleep....help! :::

Hey, thanks for the help...

I have a Powerbook 1.67 G4 & while I'm working it will randomly shut down & go to sleep...this happens quite often. Sometimes 2 or 3 times in a row.
I have clean power running to a brand new surge protector..and this happens either with or w/out the adapter plugged in. Permissions & disk repair didn't solve the problem...and the battery is charging fine, with all the lights flashing normally.

I have no idea what this could be! please help!

tried that...all i can think is that the motherboard or power switch is corrupted...still holding out for someone more knowledgeable just in case.
