[QUOTE="Jake87, post: 692944, member: 61326"] Hi, sorry if this issue has been repeated, but I can't seem to find the answer despite days of googling. So I found (in the trash) a Powerbook G4. By all appearances Airport is selected and On. I've tried setting up a Base Station ID, but it won't connect to networks (despite my macbook which is in the same room and connected to a linksys server). The powerbook can connect to my macbook when I create network, but I guess that's IR and something else altogether. (Also, the Powerbook runs fine with 3 GB used and 53 availible, should I buy the MAC OS disk to partition the HD and 'freshen it up' from the previous owner, and make it like new?) thank you.
