powerbook g4 wont boot

hi all ,, i was trying to downgrade to tiger and i couldnt boot it the normal way,, so i tryed the bless command with a sudo reboot ,, it worked ,, but my cd of tiger freezes on star it only shows the pointer and it freezes ,, i took out the dvd and restarted my mac but now i have a blue folder with a smiling face , and it wont boot ,, what can i do to put it back the way it was,,

When you say downgrade to Tiger, did you boot from the Tiger disc and format the drive?

no ,i couldnt ,, i was trying to boot the tiger dvd by the common means ussing ,,"CMD-OPT-SHIFT-DELETE", ,or, "C",, boot key combos ,,didnt worked so i had to "sudo bless --device /dev/disk1s2 --setBoot",,, it booted the dvd but my dvd is not working b/c it freezes ,, then i took out the dvd thinking that everything will be the same but now i have this blue foder in the center of the screen with a smiling face ,, and it wont boot

found a solution ,,, press opt ,, insert your password and you will see your hard drive then click on next and is solved ,,
