I've been having this problem for a little while now. When my Powerbook G4 is open and I am using it, the charger is mounted and shows a green light. If I accidentally dislodge the charger from the laptop, the laptop goes to battery. All fine, yes? But then when I plug the charger back into it, the charger goes orange, as it should do for charging, but only for a brief moment before fading and then doing nothing. To then recharge my laptop I have to close the lid, so it's in standby or off mode, and plug it in that way, and then the battery will charge. Has anyone else had this problem? It is quite annoying, as then I have to wait for it to charge before I can do any work on it.
