If have been given a power mac circa 2006, but it contains no HD, hence no OS. I have an exFAT formatted sata internal HD. How do I make all of this work?

If the optical drive is okay, you could purchase a retail DVD of Leopard (warning: it MUST be a black retail disc, nothing else is going to work, and this will be pricey), connect the drive internally, boot up from the DVD and use Disc Utility to reformat the drive and install the OS.

I don't think this is worth spending any money on, however.
