The quad core is probably the bottom photo. But word of warning...the quad-core Powermac G5's had a liquid-cooling system...and they can be troublesome. I would also like to mention that there many different models of Powermac G5's. And the cpu's came in four different configurations (depending on the exact model): - single-processor - dual-processor - dual-core - quad-core If memory serves me correctly...the 1st (top) photo is of a "dual-processor" G5. And the 2nd photo (bottom)...is what the "dual-core" or "quad-core" Powermac G5's looked like. MANY people/seller's get the "dual-processor" and "dual-core" models mixed up. So the seller you're working with may actually be selling a "dual-core" PM G5 (or have the wrong photo). Or the seller is actually selling a "dual-processor" PM G5...and NOT a "dual-core". Believe me there IS a difference. Also...if you see a photo like this: ...it was just an April Fool's joke!;) HTH, - Nick
