I recently upgraded a 12" Powerbook G4 for a customer from the 1.33Ghz to the 1.5Ghz. At first everything seemed ok until I hooked up the touchpad. Instead of getting the boot screen immediiately it takes about 30 secs to show up. from there booting is a slow process (2 mins or so). Everything else on the laptop works and once the processor warms up she's nice and snappy... but I still don't have any touchpad! I bought the logic board off of ebag as a refurb unit, I've heard a lot of good things about apple refurbs. Anyways, I'm a PC guy and I'm clueless on this one. I can use a USB mouse and everything works great, but no touchpad. Any ideas?

Sometimes the touch pads go bad & need to be replaced. I had to do it on a G4 iBook.
