Possible rumor...40G

Hey all, I heard a rumor that they will be discontinuing the 60G and will be making a new 40G that is the same dimensions as the 30G. Can anyone confirm this or is this old news? Thanks.

i don't think they would do that, because if u have the 60GB iPod, you can store videos pictures, and music, and use it as a portable hard drive.

It's possible that they may bump the 30 -> 40GB's and the 60 -> 80GB's.

However it's really hard to tell when they might upgrade them...
Possibly around the beginning of summer though.

I think there needs to be something to fill the gap between the 4GB nano and 30GB iPod.

And possibly add an 80GB version to the full size iPod lineup.

Well as they get larger and larger, I need to keep upgrading, as my iTunes library is HUGE!!!!!!
