Hello all! This is my first post and I humbly seek wisdom.
I purchased a macbook pro from Apple last November. It's been working very well for me; however, lately, the fans seem louder than usual.
I'm posting here because I think there may be a hardware issue, but maybe I'm just overly concerned.
Currently, I'm operating at 69C and the fan is holding steady at 4300 RPM. In this case, I am right beside a window on a cool night. However, normally it will go up to somewhere around the mid-70s to 80 degrees and the fan speed will reach way over 6000RPM.
Is this a cause for a concern? Is there a method that I could follow for properly assessing whether or not this is a problem.
Thank you,
IB
