My Lacie d2 is doing something bizarre.
Sometimes it will power up when I plug the FireWire in. Other times it will power up when I *remove* the FireWire. Last night it wouldn't turn off at all, and now it won't even turn on!!!
Does anyone have any idea what's happening, and how much it's going to cost to repair?
This thread can be ignored now. I figured out the problem and how to fix it.
For anyone's future reference, if your power supply or firewire bus ever fails, just take case off and plug the drive in like an internal. It's just a simple conversion system they do.
Now if only I had a G4 tower so I could prove this.
