Plug in needed

Hi, can anyone help me with a MIME type application/x-mplayer2 plugin? I've already downloaded Flip4Mac and Perian following a friend's advice, but neither has worked. I'm trying to view a web-cam for Ospreys in Scotland and am horrified I can't access it. My operating system is OS X Snow Leopard.

The x-mplayer2 mimetype is associated with Windows Media content which should be handled by flip4mac. What browser are you using? If you're using Firefox, visit aboutlugins (put that in the address bar). Do you see Flip4Mac Windows Media Plugin in that list? If you're using Safari, go to Help > Installed Plug-ins and look for Flip4Mac Windows Media Web Plugin.
