Playing .ram files on Quicktime?

I want to play a video that's a .ram file using QuickTime Pro 7. I can play it with Real Player but I want to be able to play it using QT so I can be able to do some editing. Is there a plugin I can download for QT or maybe a way to export it from Real Player? Thanks for your help.

Not that I know of, no. REAL is even more proprietary than Apple when it comes to format it seems....

Use ffmpeg to convert it to something Quicktime can read. You need to install the Real codecs for ffmpeg. Forgot where I got them, Google is your friend.
