Pismo or TiBook?

?I'm thinking about getting a more powerful laptop to suppliment my iBook 366FW and I'm torn between 2 decisions.

Should I go for a Pismo with a g4 upgrade, or a TiBook? Either would have enough horsepower for my needs, but the TiBook would be newer and a bit faster, and the Pismo is regularly touted for being more rugged.

Which way would all of you go?

I love my 15 titanium...its a classic and i could use it all day long at home...
but it is a bit big to take on holiday etc... so for realy ease of use. i love my G3 ibook..... they both do what i need from them.

Depends on where you will be using it. Do you travel alot? If so the Pismo might be a good idea but really if you get a nice notebook case (I have this Mac-Case Sleeve for my 12" PowerBook and I LOVE it), that case combined with a notebook backpack or something along those lines and your Ti PowerBook should last a very long time and perform better than the Pismo so... I would go with the Ti PowerBook if I was you but, in the end its your money so its your call.

The Pismo might have the G4 upgrade, but it is still running on the slower bus speed. I have also used those G4 upgrade cards in my old PB G3's and while they were definitely peppier ... the system tended to lock up a little more frequently.

Go for the Ti Book instead, it is a much better machine and won't cost that much more.
You should be able to find a Ti Book for around $500 or less. If it costs more than $500 you would be getting ripped off.
