Hi,
One for the musically minded, I think!
I had an excellent shareware program for Windows called SPT-667 Phrase Trainer which would allow you to raise or lower the pitch of a song without changing the speed of playback.
It did other things too (you could also change the speed without altering the pitch!), but that was the main reason I used it! A lot of guitar bands would downtune their instruments a semitone and this saved me having to retune my guitar if I wanted to play along!
