photos from ipod to iphoto

so heres my sitch, had to get a new hard drive and stupidly enough, i hadnt backed up in about a year. fortunately the majority of my photos are either on my iphone and ipod but have no clue how to get them onto my iphoto.

when i plug in my iphone it starts to delete them

HELP HELP HELP PLEASE!

Turn off auto sync on iTunes. DL a form of iPodRip(that will allow you to transfer photos off the iPod,) and you should be set to go.
