What personal finance software does everyone recommend for the Mac? I've been using MS Money for years on my PC, and when I do get my new PowerBook finance software is one of the first applications that I will need. I don't want to worry about running Parallels to run XP and MS Money. Ideally I want to get away from that O/S all together and completely switch. I thought Quicken would be a good choice, but after reading all the negative reviews on Apple's site I'm having second thoughts on that one.

I was in the same boat when I first got my Mac. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything that could replace Money. There's just haven't been any good finance programs written for a Mac. There's some simplistic ones, but nothing like Money.

I'm hoping that with the increasing popularity of Macs someone will come out with something or Microsoft will port it to Mac like the Office programs.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. If you want to try out some, go to www.pure-mac.com. There's a lot of programs there, many free. I tried iBank for a while. It's was about the best one I could find.

I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about Quicken. Granted I haven't used the Windows version in dogs years, so perhaps there are a lot of features that I don't know I'm missing. However, I have never had Quicken for Mac crash on me and have never lost any data, and it does everything I want it to do.
