I'm using OS Sierra and I am unable to burn a disk in my Apple Super-drive, because I do not have permission. When I click on the file that I want to burn to disk and get the drop down info box, the lock is greyed out and the permission is set to read-only. Can I change that and how?

The only things I can recommend is to download Onyx for your version of macOS (Sierra) and run that. Or go to the Disk Utility and run First Aid. they are both capable of Repairing Disk permissions. Onyx is avaialable from Titanium software. Just do a search for it in your search engine. HTH
