Message: <blockquote data-quote="Redbrick" data-source="post: 133978" data-attributes="member: 11288"><p>I agree with your comments for the most parts, except your comparison of the G4 733mhz to a P4-1.6ghz.  I have the Ultimate 15" powerbook, and it does not seem very 'ultimate' to me.  My experience with this machine reminds me of my old P3-1 ghz with 1 Gig ram....not too fast, but good enough for most purposes.  Unless of course my old P3-1 Ghz is faster than a P4-1.6ghz....which I doubt.  Bottom line is this laptop is good for office apps, slower on the graphics part (ie. photoshop, etc.), but terrible on games...like UT2004.  I still love this mac because of one thing...it's a beautiful machine....</p></blockquote><p></p>
