I bought a PowerMac G4 on ebay, specs in the sig. I got a GeForce MX440 64MB PCI card with two VGA Ports. It was in my PC but I was wondering if I could stick it in the mac. I have a 15" LCD that I was going to retire when I got this idea. I picked up a Sun 17" Flat CRT today for $25 at a little computer store. I would like to set up dual monitors. I just always thought that there were Mac Edition cards because of the ADC monitors.

Video cards for Mac use a more complicated firmware.

StrangeDogs is a forum that has a lot of info on flashing the ROM of PC cards for Mac.

Isn't the card you describe AGP? I don't think there is an AGP slot in the model you mention.

No its PCI. I don't think I'll use that video card anyway.
