Parallels XP: Reading files from OSX

Is there a way that I can read my music files off of OSX in XP Through parallels? I don't really want to share them because I've read it opens a hole in OSX which I really don't want to do. Is there a way I can just read the files off OSX and not write?

You could create a shared folder only for those music files. That way, even if XP goes insane it couldn't hurt anything else. Then you just back up your music files and you're safe.
