Check the Identity Occasionally my Outlook 2011 will create a new Identity, your old identity is what contains all your email, contacts, and so forth. To see which one it is one make sure you quit Outlook and then while holding the Option button (for 2 seconds at least) click on the Outlook "O" to open it. This will bring up the Microsoft Database Utility and it will tell you how many identitys you have. You will probably have more than 1 if you have a lot of data stored in them, there will be one with a date from before or the day of the update. Click on that one, then click the little gear at the bottom to set it as the Default. After you have done that you can open Outlook like normal and see all of your information come back.
