Hi folks,

So I DLed the new 10.4.9 patch for my Macbook, and it messed up a bunch of my DJing apps, and since that is my Macbook's primary function, I had to downgrade back to the old OS. I used Archive and Install.

I dropped back to the original factory version of the OS (10.4.6 I THINK) and now my videos don't display using Quicktime (it either says it can't open it or it shows a big white box with no sound or video). It says some components are missing and then sends me to a website about DivX and other codecs. But I already have these and don't want to reinstall them!!

And it automatically connects to my wireless network hub, but the internet doesn't work! I have to turn off my Airport, turn it back on, and reconnect to get to the net. When I first reinstalled the OS it asked me something about a keychain regarding my hub and I said yes. I hope I didn't screw myself.

I'm now strongly considering a total re-format. Anyone got any idea how I can fix this without that?
