I'm trying to get into a 20" G5 iMac, and the 'loosen the 3 screws, and lift up the back' isn't working. When I loosen the 3 screws, I then have to remove the memory access cover but then the whole tray wants to come away still attached to the back, leaving just the screen surround, but it wont cos it's attached to the w-fi antenna at the top of the surround.
I can find no mention of an alternative mechanical build, but this is what I seem to have, am I missing a trick, or do I just need a bigger hammer!
